Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery while fostering strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to negotiate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Communicate effectively with clients to assess their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance policies with underwriters on behalf of clients.
- Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to ensure coverage remains adequate and competitive.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for cross-selling additional products and services.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details using our sales administration systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations (including HIPAA), and best practices related to commercial insurance.
- Provide support in telemarketing efforts to generate new business leads.
Experience
- Previous experience in account management or a similar role within the insurance industry is preferred.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to advocate for clients while maintaining strong relationships with underwriters.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
