The museum, located in the old post office on East Ninth Street, became available in the 1970’s after the post office relocated to its current West First Street facility. Christian County Historian William Turner told the large crowd, the museum came about when Hopkinsville’s mayor secured the building for the city.
Leadership Board Chair Betsy Bond recognized alumni classes from Leadership and Focus 21. Bond and Breck Cayce presented the 2nd annual Leadership Legacy Award, with Cayce being the first recipient last year.
Wynn Radford, a principal with Higgins Insurance, has long been active in the community and has served on many boards such as St. Luke Free Clinic and Jennie Stuart Medical Center, and was a member of the first Leadership Hopkinsville-Christian County class in 1985.
